FAQ
Q1: What are Ambry's High Protein Crunch Cubes?
Ambry's High Protein Crunch Cubes are bite-sized snacks made from textured soy protein — plant-based, boldly seasoned, and built to snack straight from the bag or crush over any dish to replace croutons, panko, or fried shallots. Each 32g pouch contains two servings at around 90 kcal each, with 34g of protein per 100g.
Q2: How much protein do they actually have?
34g of protein per 100g — more than cooked chicken breast (which is around 31–32g per 100g). Per serving (16g), that's around 5.5g of plant-based protein. Per full bag (32g), around 11g.
Q3: Are they vegan?
Ambry's Crunch Cubes are 100% plant-based and soy-based. All four flavours are vegan-friendly. Note that the Seaweed flavour contains sesame, and all flavours are manufactured in a facility that may also handle crustaceans, eggs, fish, peanuts, milk, and tree nuts.
Q4: Are they gluten-free?
No. All four flavours contain wheat gluten as part of the textured soy protein base. They are not suitable for people with coeliac disease or wheat allergies.
Q5: What are the allergens?
All flavours contain Soy and Wheat (gluten). The Seaweed flavour additionally contains Sesame and phenylalanine (from aspartame). All flavours are produced in a facility that may contain crustaceans, eggs, fish, peanuts, milk (including lactose), and tree nuts.
Q6: How do I eat them?
Two ways. Straight from the bag, they're a satisfying high-protein snack on their own, any time. Or add whole or crushed over food, use them to replace croutons on salads, panko on schnitzel, or fried shallots on noodles. They also work great on ramen, grain bowls, poke bowls, congee, pasta, and avocado toast.
Q7: Which flavour should I start with?
If you're new to Ambry's, Original High Protein Crunch Cubes is the most versatile, clean, lightly salted, goes on everything. If you want bold, go Mala. If you love umami, go Seaweed. If you're a Korean food lover or bar snack person, Kimchi Jjigae is your flavour.
Q8: What's the difference between the bundles?
Single Pack ($4.90) is one bag of your chosen flavour. Bundle of 6 ($26.90) gets you six bags of your chosen flavor. Bundle of 12 ($42.90) is the best value option, ideal if you've found your favourites or want to stock up.
Q9: How should I store them?
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. No refrigeration needed. Best consumed before the best before date printed on the pack.
